Inclusive development with Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)

This theme aims to reduce social and economic exclusion of the Persons with Disabilities and integrate them to make their society dignified.

Strategic interventions include:

Increase awareness among persons with disabilities about the social protection entitlements.

Strengthen referral strategies to link PwDs with other services and programs including rehabilitation, vocational training and educational programs.

Implement the awareness program to increase positive behaviour and attitudes towards PwDs to enable them live dignified life.

Promote equal and meaningful participation of PwDs in household activities and community development programmes making best use of their abilities.

Ensure meaningful participation of PwDs in decision making at household and community level.

Strengthen networking and collaboration with local governments, other stakeholders.

Local entities for collaborative work with PwDs.
