Humanitarian assistance for vulnerable and victimize communities

The strategic goal is to recover social and economic status of the vulnerable communities victimized by the disaster through different implementing humanitarian activities.

Strategic interventions include:

Conduct rapid assessment and impact study to assess the needs of the relief and recovery activities to the disaster affected households/communities.

Coordinate and collaborate with the local governments and relevant stakeholders to implement relief and recovery activities.

Capacitate staff and board members to able to provide prompt services required for the disaster victims;

Strengthen organizational preparedness and emergency response to save lives and livelihoods from disasters and reduce vulnerability;

Organize trainings, orientations, manual development to the communities for disaster risk mitigation;

Implement disaster preparedness program to build communities resilient;

Build the damaged as well as ruined infrastructures.

Disseminate information through mass media, pamphlets, posters relevant to the disaster.
