Inclusive and gender responsive water, sanitation and hygiene

The goal of this strategy theme is to ensure all communities have access to improved and safe drinking water and promote total sanitation at household, school and community through collaborative projects.

Strategic interventions include:

Enable and empower people to demand their rights to WASH.

Implement behaviour change communication interventions using mass media, community level interactions to raise awareness on hygiene on safe hygiene behaviours including menstrual hygiene management practices.

Implement community-led total sanitation intervention in coordination and collaboration of local governments and stakeholders.

Enhance capacity of local WASH actors, community-based WASH community to provide quality WASH services for the excluded and deprived communities.
